The Critical Masses is a unique wine club, unlike any other. Nadeau Family Vintners recognizes that our wine club members are our strongest supporters and we strive to make sure that we show our gratitude and appreciation in a number of ways. Massers receive all wines pre-release to the public, exclusive access to wines of limited production, and discounts on wine as well as on all winery merchandise. 

In addition, members are invited to exclusive ?club only? events and receive advanced notification of industry wide events, including Far Out Wineries? happenings. The CRITICAL MASSES is truly a one of a kind club and we welcome your membership!

WHAT MAKES THIS WINE CLUB SPECIAL?

The CRITICAL MASSES have pre-release access to all wines produced by Nadeau Family Vintners, including some of such limited production that only members will receive them. If you?ve been to our winery and tasting room, you know just how small we really are. With each vintage we are able to source small lots of fruit from some very exclusive vineyards. This results in a couple barrels of this and a few barrels of that. These small lots sell out quickly so members are guaranteed first access to these wines.

HOW IS THE CLUB ORGANIZED?

The CRITICAL MASSES are organized into two levels, the Uranium level and the nriched Plutonium level. Members can change levels at any time. The Uranium level is our basic club membership and receives the benefits described in more detail below. The Plutonium level receives a larger shipment at an increased discount as well as other advantages.

HOW MANY SHIPMENTS WILL I RECEIVE AND IS THERE A DISCOUNT?

Uranium members will receive four (4) shipments per year consisting of three (3) bottles per shipment at a discounted rate of 15%. This discount rate also applies to any other purchases including logo apparel, wine glasses and delectable treats.

Plutonium members also receive four (4) shipments per year, but their shipment increases to six (6) bottles per shipment at a discounted rate of 20%. As with the Uranium level, the discount rate also applies to all other purchases from the winery. In addition, limited, large format bottlings will be made available to Plutonium members prior to Uranium members and the general public. Lastly, when limits are placed on small production wines, these limits do not apply to Plutonium members.

IS THERE A COST FOR MEMBERSHIP?

There is no cost to join the  CRITICAL MASSES. The total for each shipment is dependent upon the wines that are shipped. Average prices per shipment including UPS charges are $65-$75 for Uranium and $125-$135 for Plutonium. Please note that shipping via FedEx will increase charges slightly as will the Reds Only option when white wines are released.

IS THERE A REDS ONLY OPTION?

Yes, members can opt for a Reds Only membership. Should a member choose this option, Nadeau Family Vintners will select a previously released red wine to substitute when a white wine is released. Currently, Nadeau only produces two Rhone white wines consisting of Viognier and Roussanne. The additional cost of the red wine that is substituted will be added to the cost of the Reds Only member?s shipment cost.

DOES THE WINERY HOLD SPECIAL EVENTS?

Nadeau Family Vintners participates in all industry wide events as well as all Far Out Wineries? gatherings. Club members will receive advanced notice of these events as well as any club exclusive get-togethers at the winery. Remember, we are small so most of these events will sell out quickly. Advanced notice is a definite benefit to membership.

CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP AT ANYTIME?

Members may cancel following acceptance of a minimum of one club shipment. Nadeau Family Vintners reserves the right to cancel a member?s club privileges at any time.

How do you ship my wine? We offer a variety of shipping methods as well as allowing members to pick up their wine at the winery within 30 days from release. Within California, Arizona and Nevada, we utilized Golden State Overnight for shipping. This is truly an overnight shipping company and if we ship wines on a Monday you will receive them on Tuesday. To all other states we utilize United Parcel Service (UPS). However, if you prefer Federal Express, just let us know and we will make sure that your wines go through this service. Please be aware that shipping via FedEx does slightly increase the cost of shipping. Also, if you are within the GSO service area and would prefer either UPS or FedEx, just let us know. If you indicate "no preference" we will use our best judgment
